Serving at CONNECT
We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, and gospel-centered service. This is our process for discipleship. Gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
We provide many avenues to serve at the church during the week or during our Sunday service, and we have opportunities to serve in the community of Sanford and Lee County several times throughout the year! Keep reading to learn about our Servant Teams.

SERVANT TEAMs
At Connect Church our Servant Teams help Sunday mornings run smoothly! To join a Servant Team or find out more, email Hannah Keller!
Current Servant Teams
- Connect First Hospitality and Greeting: Greet everyone who comes to church and help visitors get connected.
- Breakfast Team: Bring a Sunday morning refreshment.
- Weekly Cleaning: Clean the church at your convenience before our Sunday service.
- *Connect Kids (Nursery, Tots, and Kids): Serve in one of our kids' rooms as a teacher or helper (all material provided).
- *Security: Stay in the lobby during our service to help anyone who arrives late and monitor the doors/parking lot.
- AV: Run sound, song lyrics, or video on Sunday mornings.

Spiritual Gifts
Not sure where you can plug in? We have adapted this Spiritual Gifts Survey to help you learn more about your particular gifts and how they fit into the local church body. Feel free to take this survey any time and then reach out to one of our church leaders to discuss how your gifts are needed at Connect!
CONNECT Kids
Volunteers in Connect Kids Programs minister to our babies through second graders during our Sunday worship service through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. They check in kids, care for babies and toddlers, lead classrooms, and provide assistance to classroom teachers.
We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Connect Kids, please let us know!
